Job summary

Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island seeks an attentive Spa/Guest Services associate to ensure an exceptional guest experience at our Spa Without Walls and fitness facilities. You will engage with guests, respond to inquiries, coordinate bookings, and support daily reception duties with a warm, aloha‑spirit approach.

Ideal candidates enjoy a physically active role, speak English fluently, and bring 2–3 years of hospitality experience in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• High school education is required with 2–3 years of relevant hospitality experience preferred, ideally in a luxury setting.
• Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently; intermediate math skills and basic computer literacy are expected.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel at a beginner level; strong problem‑solving and reasoning abilities are essential.
• Role is physically active with standing, walking and light to moderate lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a hotel environment and provide excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and uphold the Service Promise and Service Essentials.
• Answer phone inquiries promptly and professionally; greet guests warmly.
• Assist guests with bookings, tours, and payments; operate the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in spa and fitness areas.
• Support daily reception duties and ensure smooth operation of service areas.
