Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to the locker room, provide robe and slippers, and give a tour of facilities.
• Explain spa policies to guests.
• Provide amenities (water or beverages) and assist guests during their visit.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times.
• Participate in spa activities, meetings, and promotions.
• Keep guest areas neat and stocked with products.
• Assist coworkers in other areas (café, front desk, laundry) as needed.
• Pass complimentary items on the spa deck every 45 minutes.
• Understand spa amenities and package inclusions.
• Adhere to Rock Barn policies and OSHA/state regulations.

Job Summary: Greet the guests, provide them with robe and slippers, as well as escorting them through the Spa, knowing itinerary and having them in the proper areas in time for treatment. Provides tours of Spa and answer questions regarding Spa as well as outlining the therapeutic benefits of Spa features. Make sure all products are stocked and ready for guests. Make sure all guests areas are “camera ready.”

Job Description

• Greet guest, escort them to locker room and provide guest with locker, robe and slippers, provide guest with tour of facilities and explain therapeutic benefits of the Spa’s features


• Outline Spa’s policies as they relate to the guest


• Provide guest with various amenities, i.e., water or other beverage and assist guests as needed during their visit


• Smile and be friendly, helpful, courteous and professional to all clients, guests and co-workers at all times.


• Commitment to and demonstration of our Corporate Culture, Vision, Values, and Goals at all times


• Participate in all spa activities including staff meetings, educational events, workshops, inventory or promotions.


• Keep all guests' products stocked


• Keep all guest areas neat and tidy, free from trash


• Assist co-workers as needed in other areas such as café, front desk and laundry


• Pass complimentary items such as snack mix, smoothie samples, cold towels, etc. Every 45 mins to pass guest on the spa deck


• Understand the spa amenities such as temp of pool. Salt Cave, music under the main pool, etv.


• Understand what comes with spa packages


• Must have knowledge of all Spa services, packages, promotions and retail products offered by the Spa


• Adhere to all Rock Barn and departmental policies and procedures


• Adhere to OSHA standard, State Regulations and Rock Barn Safety Policies

External Qualifications

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.


• Job requires frequent walking on a regular basis as well as occasionally kneeling, crouching and bending.


• Must be able to lift and move 25 pounds on a regular basis with less frequent lifting and moving of 40 pounds.
