Job summary

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa in New Mexico is seeking a Spa Attendant/Receptionist to support the spa's operational flow and guest-facing front desk, creating a serene and welcoming environment.

You will greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, prepare treatment rooms, and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks, all while delivering warm, culturally respectful service in line with Hyatt's Purpose of Care.

Qualifications

• Prior spa, wellness, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable working in guest-facing and back-of-house environments.
• Ability to lift, bend, restock, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Warm, calm, and guest-focused.
• Team-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Spa Environment Care — Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, and common space.
• Stocking & Inventory Support — Replenish linens, amenities, beverages, and supplies; assist with product inventory.
• Therapist Assistance — Prepare rooms, support service flow, and respond to operational needs.
• Front Desk Reception — Greet guests, check them in/out, provide spa orientation, and ensure a welcoming arrival experience.
• Appointment Scheduling — Answer calls, manage bookings, modify reservations, and coordinate service timing.
• Clerical & Administrative Tasks — Process payments, handle guest records, manage daily logs, and support spa leadership with basic admin tasks.
• Guest Service Excellence — Provide warm, culturally respectful service reflective of Tamaya’s identity and Hyatt’s Purpose of Care.
• Safety & Sanitation Compliance — Follow all hygiene protocols, procedures, and spa operational standards.
