Job summary

Bartlett in Cherryvale, KS seeks a Process Operator I, an entry‑level role in the grain crush plant. You will operate and monitor state‑of‑the‑art machinery, assist in the extraction and refining of oil from soybeans, and contribute to food safety and quality.

This 12‑hour shift, four on/four off pattern starts at $24/hr with a robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, uniforms and PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Professional demeanor with safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness and verbal communications.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Crack, heat and flake soybeans to prepare for oil extraction.
• Operate and monitor extraction and refining machinery.
• Ensure food safety and GMP compliance during processing.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complete training and assist with routine sampling and data input.
