Job summary

PwC is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management/SOX Senior Associate in Charlotte, NC to support internal audit and control-focused client work within our Audit and Assurance practice. You will build client connections, manage workstreams, and mentor junior team members while applying critical thinking to complex concepts.

You will contribute to enterprise risk and SOX activities by interpreting data and using technology-enabled methods to strengthen control environments and respond to change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Experience in enterprise risk/SOX is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze enterprise risk and internal control processes for engagements.
• Assess SOX and internal audit requirements across financial reporting.
• Develop workstreams for control design, testing, and remediation.
• Review process documentation, control narratives, and risk matrices.
• Interpret audit findings into practical control improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and track follow-up actions.
• Apply auditing methodologies and digital tools to streamline delivery.
• Mentor junior team members on tasks and procedures.
