Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a SOX Director - Compute and Infrastructure to lead financial risk assessment and internal control design across cloud spend and infrastructure. You will partner with Compute Accounting, IT, Finance, and Procurement to build scalable controls supporting pre-IPO readiness.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of SOX or internal controls experience, CPA/CISA preferred, and deep knowledge of cost accounting, vendor commitments, and US GAAP. This role is hybrid in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Designed controls over cloud, compute, or infrastructure cost and related processes.
• Proven ability to scale SOX controls at pre-IPO or newly public companies.
• Strong understanding of compute accruals, cost allocation, and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX control design for compute and infrastructure, including cloud spend and vendor commitments.
• Develop and execute the SOX control plan and roadmap for compute and infrastructure.
• Oversee testing, remediation, and reporting to auditors and leadership.
