The role focuses on risk assessments, control evaluations, and governance across business units, collaborating with audit teams and management to strengthen control environments. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in SOX/compliance, with strong communication skills and a track record of driving process improvements and control effectiveness

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Proficiency in risk assessments, control environment reviews, and controls advisory.
• Experience with business process controls, risk analysis, and control gap identification.
• Experience in Segregation of Duties (SOD) reviews and critical spreadsheet controls.
• Experience with process documentation, internal audit support, and governance frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across business and audit teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enterprise-wide risk assessment activities and control evaluations.
• Provide advisory guidance on SOX compliance and internal control effectiveness.
• Coordinate policy reviews and ensure governance processes remain current.
• Facilitate SOD reviews, spreadsheet control reviews, and related risk analyses.
• Develop and maintain process documentation supporting risk and control initiatives.
• Partner with management and audit teams to recommend control and process improvements.
