Job summary

Anthropic, a leading AI safety company in San Francisco, seeks a Senior Manager, IT SOX to lead the IT SOX program within Internal Audit. You will be a hands-on contributor, driving controls for IT General and Application Controls, and partnering with Engineering, Security, and Finance to scale the control environment for a fast-growing AI organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT audit or IT SOX experience in a tech environment.
• Deep knowledge of ITGCs, ITACs, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience auditing CI/CD pipelines and adapting controls for automated environments.
• Ability to design, test, and document access, change, and operations controls.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and fast-paced settings.
• Ability to guide internal teams and co-source partners.

Responsibilities

• Advise on control environment design for an AI-first company.
• Partner with Eng., Security, IT, and DevOps to assess controls.
• Assess new systems and changes for control impact.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve monitoring.
• Lead IT SOX testing across ITGCs and ITACs.
• Document controls and maintain audit-ready evidence.
• Coordinate with external auditors on IT SOX matters.
• Track remediation of audit findings and report status to Head of IT SOX.
