Job summary

CoreWeave in Bellevue, WA is seeking a highly technical Director of SOX Compliance to lead our SOX program in a fast-moving tech environment. This role owns end-to-end controls, risk assessments, and documentation, partnering with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and external auditors to scale a best-in-class program.

The successful candidate will mentor a team of 3, implement efficient controls, build executive dashboards, and ensure SEC ICFR readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• CPA, CISA, or CIA certification is required (CPA strongly preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive SOX compliance experience in tech environments.
• Deep ITGCs/ITACs knowledge and testing methodologies a must.
• Experience with ERP systems and GRC platforms is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOX compliance program and drive maturation.
• Assess scoping methodology for coverage of in-scope systems and controls.
• Refine narratives, risk-control matrices, and control documentation.
• Execute risk assessments to validate key controls and priorities.
• Ensure Section 404(b) SOX and PCAOB audit standards compliance.
