Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 12 years experience in related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with regional directors, office managers, and marketing/technical directors.
• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.
• Strong business skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a bold regional growth strategy for HDR's Water Business Group in the Southwest.
• Identify market opportunities, trends, and client needs to expand HDR's presence.
• Lead a high-performing regional leadership team and coordinate with senior leaders to accelerate growth.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Drive business development, strategic pursuits, and key client relationships for long-term success.
• Align strategy and resources across HDR through collaboration with regional operations and managers.
• Champion technical excellence, quality delivery, and HDR's priorities across the region.
• Mentor and develop Area Business Group Managers and emerging leaders.
• Identify and recruit top talent to build HDR's water leadership pipeline.
• Engage with water organizations and conferences as a visible industry leader.
• Interface between Water Business Group and Operations to balance growth with operations.
