Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Regional Vice President (RVP) of Strategic Relations for the Southwest region. This hybrid role in the Dallas/Fort Worth or Houston area leads fundraising efforts, develops strategic relationships with executive leaders, and drives revenue targets with incentive potential up to 25% of base pay.

Responsibilities include leading regional committees, shaping strategies, and collaborating with staff to deliver results aligned with the mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years in a development capacity at a similar non-profit organization.
• 3 years leading staff, preferably development or fundraising staff.
• Experience engaging C-suite leaders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of accounts and achieve an annual revenue goal of $5 million in year one and $10 million in year two.
• Design, develop, and lead regional committees to meet the region's fundraising goals.
• Develop and manage strategies to drive regional initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Collaborate with region committees and staff to coordinate strategies across the region.
• Cultivate relationships with new and existing partners and identify sponsorship opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative environment across functions to achieve revenue and mission goals.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
