Job summary

Trinity Consultants is seeking an On-Call Environmental Compliance Monitor to support projects around Yuma, AZ. The role involves observing construction activities to ensure adherence to environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and project-specific environmental plans, with site inspections and reporting to management.

The position requires knowledge of environmental laws, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in field conditions for extended periods; compensation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an environmental field; a bachelor’s degree with additional experience may be considered.
• Ten (10) or more years of experience in an environmental or related discipline.
• Three (3) or more years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business relationships and generate new clients.
• Expertise in local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations.
• Expertise in managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Experience working in a consulting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to team members through performance management including conducting performance reviews, identifying appropriate training, and implementing corrective action plans.
• Help identify staffing needs and assist with new employee evaluation and hiring processes.
• Recommend, develop, and schedule staff training programs.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedule, and budget in alignment with contract terms and conditions.
• Provide support to Environmental Project Managers in developing and managing their projects.
• Develop and/or review technical products to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Set business development goals and provide recommendations on go/no-go assessments.
• Assist in growing department revenue through business development and process efficiency.
