Job summary

Trinity Consultants in the Southwest region seeks an On-Call Environmental Compliance Monitor to support projects near Yuma, AZ. The role involves observing construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and project-specific plans; site inspections, construction monitoring, documenting status, guiding crews, and reporting to project management.

Requirements include a Master’s in environmental field (or a Bachelor’s with experience), 10+

Qualifications

• Master's degree in environmental field; a bachelor’s with additional experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental or related discipline.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business relationships and generate new clients.
• Expertise in local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations.
• Experience in a consulting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to team members through performance management.
• Identify staffing needs and assist with hiring processes.
• Develop, schedule, and deliver staff training programs.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Support Environmental Project Managers in developing and managing projects.
• Develop and/or review technical products for accuracy and quality.
• Set business development goals and contribute to go/no-go assessments.
• Help grow department revenue through business development and process improvements.
