Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. (ICSolutions/ICS) is seeking a Field Tech to support inmate phone systems across facilities. You will travel to sites, repair or replace components on customized network devices, and install equipment for multi-year contracts.

The role requires strong network knowledge, T-1/analog circuit repair, and excellent communication. Travel is extensive, and you will work with facility personnel to ensure reliable service and project success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one year experience.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of multiple network disciplines and perform advanced network diagnostics to isolate and troubleshoot issues.
• Must be able to develop good working relationships with facility personnel.
• Service and maintain inmate phone systems at correctional facilities within an assigned region.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong team oriented business skill.
• Professional attitude in dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace components on a suite of custom configured network devices in support of multi-year state and county contracts.
• Perform installations at new sites and assemble network equipment for the inmate phone system and add-on components.
• Travel to and between sites to support contracts and field operations.
• Other duties as determined by business needs.

About This Position

There is always extensive travel to and from each site the Field Tech visits. Once there, they will perform a walk-through of the facility to repair or replace any components on a suite of custom configured network devices in support of multi-year state and county contracts. Field Techs perform installations at the new site. This requires putting together a significant amount of network equipment for the inmate phone system and associated add on components in support of the contract. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.
