Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. (including Trinity Services Group, Keefe Group, Courtesy Products) hires Field Techs to travel to correctional facilities, repair or replace network devices, and install equipment for inmate phone systems under multi-year state and county contracts.

Travel is extensive to and from sites; candidates should have strong network knowledge, T-1/analog repair skills, and excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Must be able to develop good working relationships with facility personnel.
• Travel throughout assigned territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform walk-through of facilities to repair or replace components on network devices for inmate phone systems.
• Install at new sites and assemble network equipment for inmate phone systems and related components.
• Provide ongoing field support for state and county contracts.
• Perform other duties as required by the business.

About This Position

There is always extensive travel to and from each site the Field Tech visits. Once there, they will perform a walk-through of the facility to repair or replace any components on a suite of custom configured network devices in support of multi-year state and county contracts. Field Techs perform installations at the new site. This requires putting together a significant amount of network equipment for the inmate phone system and associated add on components in support of the contract. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.

What You'll Need

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of multiple network disciplines and perform advanced network diagnostics to isolate and troubleshoot issues.
• Must be able to develop good working relationships with facility personnel.
• Service and maintain inmate phone systems at correctional facilities within an assigned region.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong team oriented business skill.
• Professional attitude in dealing with customers.
