Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Regional Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to guide our Southeast water and wastewater programs. This hands-on role involves leading project delivery, mentoring staff, and collaborating with Arcadis locations nationwide to support projects and client development.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in water/wastewater, a PE license, and a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Travel to regional client sites will be required as part of expanding Arcadis’ Southeast portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of water/wastewater treatment experience.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License and ability to obtain license by reciprocity in other states as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee QA/QC of water/wastewater projects and ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes, statutes, and Arcadis’ practices.
• Lead knowledge transfer and development of staff within area of expertise.
• Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level engineers and technical staff to grow Arcadis’ capabilities.
• Manage technical coordination and leadership on large/complex projects with higher risk.
• Oversee technical delivery of very large or specialized projects, ensuring client satisfaction and good communication across teams.
• Support marketing and proposal phases, including scope/budget development and interviews.
