Garver, LLC is seeking a Transportation Regional Director to lead operations, drive growth, and foster excellence across the Southeast region. The role emphasizes entrepreneurial leadership in transportation engineering, client engagement, and staff development within a consulting context.

You will oversee growth strategies, client relationship management, and high-level project opportunities while mentoring leaders, and coordinating with public and government entities across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Proven leadership experience in engineering consulting.
• Strong understanding of business operations, client relations, and team development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to travel within the region as needed.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida and the ability to obtain licensure in other states regionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth plan for expansion of transportation services throughout the southeast region of the United States.
• Assist with strategic pursuits, including interview preparation and win strategies for projects in the region.
• Evaluate and approve go/no-go decisions for project opportunities.
• Maintain high-level client relationships and perform regular project debriefs and client check-ins.
• Maintain and develop key partnering relationships.
• Mentor and support Team Leaders to foster professional growth and leadership.
• Recruit and onboard Project Managers and Team Leaders.
• Represent Garver in civic and professional organizations.
• Build and maintain relationships at the political level necessary to support key pursuits.
• Develop and execute a growth plan for expansion of transportation services throughout the southeast region of the United States.
• Oversee and approve contract terms, scopes, and fees to mitigate risk.
• Manage leaders across the region performing at a high level and have accountability to the goals established in the business plan.
