Garver is seeking a Transportation Regional Director in Jacksonville, FL to lead operations and drive growth across the Southeast region. The role requires an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong background in transportation engineering, consulting, and client engagement.

The position emphasizes staff development, business strategy, and relationship building with clients, governments, and partners, with travel within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Proven leadership experience in engineering consulting.
• Strong understanding of business operations, client relations, and team development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to travel within the region as needed.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida and ability to obtain licensure in other states regionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth plan for expansion of transportation services throughout the southeast region of the United States.
• Assist with strategic pursuits, including interview preparation and win strategies for projects in the region.
• Evaluate and approve go/no-go decisions for project opportunities.
• Maintain high-level client relationships and perform regular project debriefs and client check-ins.
• Maintain and develop key partnering relationships.
• Mentor and support Team Leaders to foster professional growth and leadership.
• Recruit and onboard Project Managers and Team Leaders.
• Represent Garver in civic and professional organizations.
• Build and maintain relationships at the political level necessary to support key pursuits.
• Develop and execute a growth plan for expansion of transportation services throughout the southeast region of the United States.
