Job summary

Garver is seeking a Transportation Regional Director in Orlando, Florida to lead operations, drive growth, and foster excellence across the Southeast region. This role requires engineering leadership in transportation consulting, strong client engagement, and team development.

The position entails developing growth plans, overseeing projects, mentoring leaders, managing contracts, and representing Garver in civic and professional circles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Proven leadership experience in engineering consulting.
• Strong understanding of business operations, client relations, and team development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to travel within the region as needed.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida and the ability to obtain licensure in other states regionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth plans for expansion of transportation services throughout the Southeast region.
• Assist with strategic pursuits, including interview preparation and win strategies for projects in the region.
• Evaluate and approve go/no-go decisions for project opportunities.
• Maintain high-level client relationships and perform regular project debriefs and client check-ins.
• Represent Garver in civic and professional organizations.
• Oversee and approve contract terms, scopes, and fees to mitigate risk.
• Manage leaders across the region performing at a high level and have accountability to the goals established in the business plan.
