Job summary

Eagle Creek Hydro Operations, LLC in Lynchburg, Virginia is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee daily regional operations of our hydro facilities. You will implement the Operating Plan, supervise plant staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance at all times.

The role emphasizes reliable plant performance, cost-effective maintenance planning, and proactive communication with the Division Manager and maintenance crews.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience supervising maintenance crews and coordinating outages.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to plan and allocate tasks to subordinates effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise plant employees in operation and maintenance of hydro units.
• Support outage planning, scheduling, and contractor coordination.
• Investigate problems, perform troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with FERC licenses and environmental permits.
• Maintain training records and plant logs; update regional policy manuals.
• Communicate plant conditions and performance to the Division Manager.
