Job summary

You will lead or support studies, develop pay structures, and craft implementation recommendations for HR and leadership. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in municipal classifications, market pricing, and stakeholder workshops, plus credentials

Qualifications

• Hands‑on municipal (city/county) classification and/or compensation study delivery.
• Ability to lead or support job analysis, market pricing, structure design, and client workshops.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel for client on-sites.
• Nice to have: Southeast municipal or school-district public-sector references.
• CCP, SPHR, or similar credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support municipal classification and compensation studies for SE city and county clients.
• Conduct job analysis, market pricing, pay-structure design, and stakeholder workshops.
• Build comparator peer sets appropriate to Southeast municipalities and school districts.
• Produce clear reports, ranges, and implementation recommendations for HR and leadership.
• Present findings to boards, councils, and executive sponsors.
• Contribute SE municipal class/comp content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals (when permissioned).
