HDR is seeking a BES Regional Business Group Director to lead the Southeast region, overseeing a multi-state area and driving growth in building engineering services. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, client development, and operational excellence within HDR’s employee-owned culture.

The candidate will guide regional initiatives, mentor managers, manage risk, and contribute to annual planning while upholding HDR values and quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• A minimum of 12 years experience in related field.
• Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams.
• Strong business skills and commitment to HDR values.
• Willingness to reside within the region or relocate as required.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement and maintain an effective regional business group program and staffing within goals for the BES region.
• Develop and lead regional initiatives with Market Sector and leadership.
• Collaborate with other Regional Directors and leaders to drive BES strategies.
• Drive BES P&L performance and support regional initiatives.
• Participate in BES BG Senior Leadership meetings and MOA adherence.
• Mentor Area Business Group Managers and key personnel on staffing, forecasts and work-share.
• Address operational leadership inquiries and project health.
• Assist and review risk management plans and alternative delivery reviews.
• Participate in project quality reviews for at-risk or critical projects (QMS).
• Assist in identifying regional strategic hires and recruiting new candidates.
• Review marketing forecasts and ensure staffing alignment with backlog.
• Ensure leaders participate in annual planning and budget alignment.
• Add strong business skills as the regional BG interface with Operations.
• Commitment to quality, improvement and HDR values.
• Perform other duties as needed.
