Xanterra Travel Collection in Grand Canyon National Park is seeking a Taxi & Tour Bus Dispatcher to coordinate drivers, vehicles and guest pickups at the South Rim. You will ensure timely, accurate transportation and liaise with in-park desks and tour desks to fulfill requests.

The role requires strong communication, regional knowledge, and willingness to work overtime in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and clear instructions delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for fast-paced dispatch.
• Must know Grand Canyon region and transportation services.
• Ability to work overtime and adapt to schedule changes.
• Participate in training and development programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/update dispatch paperwork and assignments in Opera/Dashboard.
• Dispatch drivers and assign buses and taxis as needed.
• Communicate with customers on pickup times and special requests.
• Brief drivers on duties and tour information.
• Coordinate with Transportation Desk on tours, departures and ADA requests.
• Handle daily money reports and run daily paperwork.
• Maintain schedule updates and inform staff of changes.
• Assist with billing and hiker transport needs.
• Work with National Park Service on operations communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
