Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection at Grand Canyon South Rim is hiring a Telephone Operator to support 24/7 switchboard operations. You will handle calls, alarms and radio communications with professionalism and calm during emergencies.

Position is full-time year-round, paying $16.15 per hour, with a typical 40-hour week and weekend/evening shifts. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k with match and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Experience with switchboard or front desk roles is helpful.
• Ability to maintain composure during emergencies.
• Strong verbal communication and professional telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Handle calls, alarms and radio communications via switchboard.
• Provide callers with park information following policy.
• Log notes for fire, medical and security incidents.
• Support 24/7 operations and other duties as assigned.
