Job summary

Caron Treatment Centers is seeking a results-driven Business Development Officer to lead regional sales strategy and build important referent relationships across Southern Florida. The role collaborates with the VP of Business Development and regional teams to meet revenue goals and promote Caron programs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare sales, strong relationship-building skills, and knowledge of the 12-step program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years’ sales experience in healthcare or service industry.
• Clinical knowledge and/or understanding of 12-Step program.
• Proven relationship management and prospecting skills.
• Must have home office space with computer and high-speed internet access.
• If in recovery, 2 years of continuous sobriety preferred.
• Must have transportation to and from site visits and appointments.
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Work with the VP of Business Development and regional team to support sales goals.
• Create and implement targeted regional sales strategy.
• Develop referent relationships and provide program info across Caron facilities.
• Document in Sales Force and prepare reports per the Business Development Plan.
• Schedule and track face-to-face appointments with referents and leadership staff.
• Represent Caron professionally at civic/professional events.
• Coordinate with Regional team to promote programs and coordinate large events.
• Assist Development in identifying fundraising candidates and donor visits.
