Job summary

ICOP, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead business development and sales across the South Florida market.

You will build relationships with owners, developers, and general contractors, identify opportunities from planning to bidding, and coordinate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to deliver competitive geotechnical construction solutions. The role emphasizes heavy collaboration with engineers and project teams, requires a strong network in Florida, and permits travel

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction, sales, business development, estimating, project management, or a related role.
• Established relationships within the Florida construction market, preferably with GC/CM/Others.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Florida market as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, construction managers, owners, developers, engineers, and other key industry partners.
• Expand ICOP’s presence throughout South Florida by leveraging existing relationships and developing new contacts.
• Identify projects early in planning, design, preconstruction, and bidding phases.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers and understand client procurement processes and upcoming project pipelines.
• Generate and qualify new project opportunities aligned with ICOP’s capabilities and strategic objectives.
• Maintain regular contact with key accounts and develop long-term client relationships.
• Represent ICOP at client meetings, industry organizations, conferences, networking events, and other business development activities.
• Communicate ICOP’s value proposition effectively to clients and understand construction plans, specs, and schedules.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to evaluate opportunities and develop competitive solutions.
• Participate in bid/no-bid decisions, pursuit strategy, scope development, and commercial discussions.
• Coordinate proposal development and client presentations; assist in negotiations.
• Facilitate transition of awarded projects from sales to operations.
