Job summary

Egis is seeking a South Florida Area Business Leader based in our Miami office to drive performance and growth of the transportation design team. You will lead client service, business development, and project delivery, while managing resources, budgets, and pursuit decisions.

As a regional leader, you will develop business plans, build long-term client relationships with Florida agencies, and represent Egis in client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

• "Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or technical expertise" or equivalent experience.
• "Licensed professional engineer in Florida".
• "Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible experience".
• "Engineer II classification or higher".
• "Must have budgets and schedules experience as a discipline lead or project manager".
• "Experience in planning, design, and construction for roads/highways/bridges".
• "Strong written and verbal communications".
• "Ability to lead meetings and interface with clients".
• " Supervisory experience preferred".
• "Ability to build long-term client relationships in Florida".

Responsibilities

• Lead the performance and growth of the South Florida transportation design team.
• Oversee client service, business development, and project delivery.
• Manage resources, budgets, and go/no-go decisions on pursuits.
• Support region growth by developing and implementing business plans.
• Represent Egis at client meetings and industry events.
• Coordinate with Discipline Leaders to pursue targets and capture plans.
