Job summary

OU Health seeks an Experienced RN for the South Emergency Department/Freestanding, Days shift. The RN I–III track depends on education and experience, from novice to competent, delivering high-quality care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities include administering meds, observing patients, documenting changes, and collaborating with physicians. Eligible for sign-on, student loan repayment, and relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: RN I 0-3 years; RN II 3-5 years; RN III 5+ years in patient care.
• License/Certification: Current RN license; BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
• Administers medication as prescribed and manages IV infusions and blood products.
