Job summary

Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN - Registered Nurse for the South Emergency Department/ Freestanding, Days shift. The RN I–III will provide high-quality care, align with OU Health values, and support patients with a range of needs from simple to complex.

The role requires appropriate nursing education and licensure, with opportunities for sign-on bonus up to $10,000, student loan repayment up to $25,000, and relocation assistance for move over 100 miles.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: RN I 0–3 years; RN II 3–5 years; RN III 5+ years.
• Current RN license in Oklahoma (or compact) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments, noting changes in physician orders.
• Assists physicians in examination and minor procedures.
• Monitors patient data and intervenes when necessary.
• Delivers medications and initiates IV infusions and blood products.
• Delivers patient care safely and communicates care plans to patient and family.
