Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a South Central Region Director, Growth & Sales, North America, to drive regional revenue growth in the Energy & Power sector across utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, EPCs and developers. You will guide opportunity development, bid strategy, and client relationships, balancing growth with margin discipline.

You will collaborate with leadership to execute the regional sales plan, manage cross‑functional resources, and promote Jacobs’ capabilities across multiple market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in the power/energy sector with domain knowledge.
• Proven success in sustainable business development with utilities, municipalities, cooperatives and developers.
• Established network across utilities, renewable developers, ISOs/RTOs, and teaming partners.
• Strong understanding of utility procurement, contracting, and RFP processes.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and commercial/financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional growth and revenue generation for Energy & Power in North America.
• Drive disciplined pursuits across the full lifecycle, from opportunity development to close.
• Manage bid offerings to protect margins and profitability.
• Build internal and external relationships to expand Jacobs’ market share.
• Develop client strategy and execution plans across multiple market segments.
