Job summary

Hire Priority Staffing in South Austin is seeking an EPA-certified Maintenance Technician to support a multifamily apartment community. The role involves responding to service requests, performing unit turns, troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, and assisting with make-ready duties.

This full-time position offers a typical 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, a starting wage of $25/hour, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with apartment maintenance required.
• EPA certification is required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Experience with make-ready and unit turnover is a plus.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues.
• Support make-ready work and prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repair tasks.
• Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community.
• Work with property management and maintenance staff to prioritize daily work orders.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Assist with additional property maintenance as needed.
