Job summary

Sullivan's Steakhouse in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef, oversee kitchen operations, and contribute to menu development. This role requires hands-on leadership in a vibrant, guest-focused environment.

You will manage kitchen tasks, help train staff, and ensure quality standards while maintaining cost controls. Join a brand with a history of excellence and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sous Chef experience in an upscale casual dining or fine dining environment.
• Strong broiler skills are required.
• Experience in a steakhouse is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef with organizing, training and employee management when Executive Chef is present, and acts on behalf when absent.
• Prepare necessary data for applicable parts of the budget; projects annual food, labor and other costs and monitors actual financial results; takes corrective action to help assure that financial goals are met.
• Regularly creates unique dishes and menu items for daily features and specialty events; and as called upon in consultation with guests to meet dietary restrictions and palate preferences.
