Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead food preparation across production environments. You will supervise kitchen staff, assist with hiring and training, and take charge during the Executive Chef’s absence, opening and closing duties, and ensuring high standards of sanitation.

You’ll participate in inventory, develop par sheets, and place food and supply orders. The position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a large not-for-profit

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment.
• ServeSafe Certification (preferred).
• Experienced in all cooking stations and methods.

• Oversee food preparation and cooking in all production environments.
• Direct and support day-to-day kitchen operations and supervise sanitation staff.
• Assist with hiring and training of new kitchen staff.
