Piatti Seattle is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team. This role centers on consistency of every plate and every shift, with an open schedule including weekends and closing shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service, high-volume kitchen.
• Hands-on experience with ordering, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
• Comfort working on a computer and using kitchen management systems.

Responsibilities

• Work the line and cook to spec on every station.
• Review and approve all food before it reaches the guest.
• Uphold recipe, plating standards, and kitchen procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety practices.
• Supervise, train, coach, and discipline kitchen staff.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Schedule staff and manage labor in kitchen systems.
• Maintain recipe and cost data in kitchen management systems.
• Support the Executive Chef and run the kitchen in their absence.
