Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a full-time Sous Chef in Tukwila, WA. The role supports the Executive Chef, coordinates cooks, and oversees food-service associates in the absence of the Executive Chef.

The position requires supervisory, high-volume batch cooking and catering experience, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay ranges from $29.00 to $32.00 per hour, with benefits available.

Qualifikationen

• Previous supervisory, high-volume batch cooking, and high-volume catering experience is required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Aufgaben

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and performance reviews as appropriate.
• Stores food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and safe serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; keeps workstation clean and organized.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Explains daily menu items accurately to associates and customers.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; tracks production, consumption and waste.
