Summer House North Bethesda, part of Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, is hiring a Sous Chef.

You should have 2–3 years of sous chef experience and the ability to lead and manage kitchen staff. The role offers a competitive salary, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sous chef experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and manage the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Run BOH shifts and oversee food prep, inventory, and kitchen staff.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and line/cooler checks.
• Maintain recipe books with GM/managers.
• Perform regular line checks to ensure menu quality.
• Purchase and order food and supplies daily.
• Help track and control food costs.
