Job summary

Levy Restaurants at Ford Field in Detroit is seeking a Sous Chef I to support the overall food program and culinary operations. You will help with planning, ordering, inventory, and food prep while upholding quality, freshness, and presentation standards.

You will motivate, train, and direct back-of-house staff to meet client expectations and company guidelines, ensuring safe operations and excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5 years of culinary experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience across restaurants, hotels, or large-scale dining environments.
• Solid understanding of food quality, control, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and preparing a variety of dishes.
• Plan menus and support new culinary programs with marketing/culinary teams.
• Help manage costs and control expenditures.
