Previous culinary or food service management experience is preferred.

Pay Range

$32.00 to $34.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Assists the Executive Chef in food preparation and cooking, coordinates activities of kitchen staff, and assumes responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties
  1. Cook and prepare food following recipes and standards, meeting deadlines.
  2. Supervise food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  3. Store food safely and follow sanitation procedures.
  4. Ensure proper food handling, presentation, and temperature maintenance.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstations.
  6. Interact with customers to resolve complaints professionally.
  7. Understand and explain menu items accurately.
  8. Monitor inventory and supplies, report low stock.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
