We are hiring immediately for a full-time SOUS CHEF position at Leominster Public Schools, located at 24 Church Street, Leominster, MA 01453. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details will be provided upon interview.

Requirements: Two years of prior cooking experience and one year of supervisory or managerial experience.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Assist the Executive Chef in food preparation and cooking, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure food safety and quality standards are met.

Essential Duties
  • Prepare food according to recipes and standards, meet production deadlines.
  • Supervise food service staff, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and discipline.
  • Store food safely, handle food properly, and maintain sanitation standards.
  • Engage with customers to resolve complaints and explain menu items.
  • Monitor inventory, track production, and inform management of supply needs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
