Job summary

Senior Living Residences in Canton, MA is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our dining team. You will prepare, cook, plan and plate meals for residents, and assist with ordering while accommodating dietary needs.

We offer a full-time schedule 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM with every other weekend, a competitive hourly rate ($23–$25) based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage and retirement planning.

Qualifications

• Certification: Food Safety certification preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical requirements: lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture.
• Communication: ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality and reliability – residents rely on us to assist with daily living activities.

Rates start at $23 - $25 per hour based on work experience

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The sous chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, planning and plating food for meals and special events, assisting with ordering, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.
