The Sous Chef is responsible for enhancing the overall Resident experience by assisting the Executive Chef through exceptional oversight and culinary training of kitchen staff. The Sous Chef supervises and coordinates culinary activities across all dining venues, including Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations memory care, and Club Room, as well as special events and private functions. This role requires a professional, friendly, courteous, helpful, and timely approach to ensure a high level of satisfaction for Residents and their guests. The Sous Chef reports to the Executive Chef and operates in accordance with community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophies.
