Job Details
  • We are hiring immediately for a SOUS CHEF position.
  • Location: Applied Materials, 3090 Bowers Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full Time; Monday through Friday between 6AM to 4PM.
  • Responsibilities: The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and consistency. They supervise and train kitchen staff, control costs, maintain safety standards, oversee food prep, monitor inventory, control waste, enforce compliance, collaborate with front-of-house staff, assist with special events, and menu planning. They may step in as head chef when needed.
  • Requirements: 2+ years of culinary background, food safety, and hospitality experience. Strong culinary, leadership, and organizational skills. Knowledge of food safety, cost control, and menu development.
  • Salary Range: $68,640 - $73,000
  • Additional info: Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.
