The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented, organized, and passionate Sous Chef to join our leadership team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and guide the culinary team in delivering consistent excellence. This is a prime opportunity for a chef who thrives in elevated dining and wants to grow within a global luxury hospitality brand.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support all aspects of kitchen operations for dinner service at Violetto and events across the resort
  • Lead prep, execution, and plating during service while ensuring consistency and quality
  • Train and coach line cooks, prep cooks, and stewarding team members
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships in collaboration with the Executive Chef
  • Uphold safety, sanitation, and health department standards
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal changes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Sous Chef or kitchen leadership experience in a fine dining or luxury restaurant
  • Passion for seasonal ingredients, modern technique, and elegant plating
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example and remain calm under pressure
  • ServSafe or food handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Weekend and evening availability required
