Job Description

Two Hands (twohandshospitality.com / @twohandsrestaurant) is seeking an experienced sous chef for our restaurant in the Factory!

Two Hands Hospitality is a group of community-focused Australian restaurants. Serving breakfast through dinner, we fuel your lifestyle with fresh, delicious food, cocktails, and coffee.

We are a fast-growing, innovative hospitality group with restaurants in NYC, Austin, Nashville, Denver, and more on the horizon. The Two Hands approach to food is that it is good for you, good for the environment, simple, and tastes good. At Two Hands, our goal is for our ingredients to come from local farms to support our communities in New York, Texas, Tennessee, and Colorado.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• At least three years of experience in a similar role
• Must have open availability
• General knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and heating and cooling methods
• A positive and customer-centric attitude
• Australian cafe experience or a general curiosity for what we do
• Ability to communicate with both BOH and FOH staff
• Ability to maintain DOH sanitation standards and uphold the cleanliness of the kitchen
• Advanced knife skills
• Being bilingual is a plus
• Proficiency in standard cooking techniques
• Ability to work/stand for 8-10 hours a day and occasionally carry up to 20 pounds
• Ability to keep your workspace clean and uphold the standards of the restaurant
