Description

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join our team! As a Sous Chef, you’re essential in upholding our high standards of excellence. You'll work closely with the other Chefs, ensuring that food is prepared and plated to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality. You will oversee the back of house team, fostering our culture and ensuring efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  1. Uphold our high standards for professionalism & excellence, overseeing & ensuring consistency in preparation & execution of each dish.
  2. Responsible for recipe adherence & production methods are clearly communicated & followed.
  3. Responsible for ongoing training & development of kitchen staff.
  4. Oversee hiring & schedules to ensure smooth & efficient services.
  5. Manage & monitor food & labor costs.
  6. Collaborate with the Chef team to introduce fresh and relevant dishes.
  7. Create a sense of unity and support among peers and those in your command. Maintain culture through the evolution of the business.
  8. Unwilling to compromise on standards and hold staff and self accountable.
  9. Coordinate with key stakeholders on specials & menu changes with intention.
  10. Maintain a fully staffed kitchen & assist chefs & line cooks in any capacity necessary.
  11. Set-up & perform detailed line checks for each shift, confirming food quality & consistency guidelines are being met.
