Xometry, a NASDAQ-listed innovator in digital manufacturing, seeks a Team Lead for its Sourcing Department in North Bethesda. You will lead a team of sourcing specialists and coordinators, guiding high‑risk orders to timely, customer‑first resolutions and coaching for sustained performance.

The role combines people leadership with strategic problem‑solving, cross‑functional collaboration, and supplier/customer negotiations to drive KPI‑driven outcomes in a fast‑growing department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of client‑facing and vendor‑facing experience, preferably in the manufacturing space.
• 2+ years of team leadership or mentoring experience, ideally in an operations, sourcing, or customer‑facing environment.
• Demonstrated success managing escalated or complex workplace situations with clear communication and strong follow‑through.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sourcing professionals throughout the order recovery process and provide coaching, direction, and real‑time guidance as appropriate.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced recovery strategies, supplier and customer negotiations, and provide support to overcome complex sourcing challenges.
• Prioritize escalations and redistribute your team’s workload as needed to achieve the team’s overall KPIs
• Maintain strong cross‑functional relationships with internal teams (Design Engineers, Manual Quoting Team, Sales, etc.) to coordinate recovery plans
• Independently manage your queue of high‑risk / high‑visibility escalations
