Job summary

Xometry, a NASDAQ: XMTR company, is seeking a solution-oriented Team Lead for its Sourcing Department in Los Angeles. You will guide a team of Sourcing Specialists and Coordinators to resolve complex manufacturing challenges, drive high-quality order placement, and uphold key performance metrics.

The role blends people leadership with strategic problem-solving, supplier and customer negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with design engineers, quoting teams, and sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3+ years of client-facing and vendor-facing experience, preferably in the manufacturing space.
• 2+ years of team leadership or mentoring experience, ideally in an operations, sourcing, or customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated success managing escalated or complex workplace situations with clear communication and strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sourcing professionals throughout the order recovery process and provide coaching, direction, and real-time guidance as appropriate.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced recovery strategies, supplier and customer negotiations, and provide support to overcome complex sourcing challenges.
• Prioritize escalations and redistribute your team’s workload as needed to achieve the team’s overall KPIs
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams (Design Engineers, Manual Quoting Team, Sales, etc.) to coordinate recovery plans
• Independently manage your queue of high-risk / high-visibility escalations
