Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Team Lead for its Sourcing Department to guide a team of Sourcing Specialists and Coordinators on high-priority recovery orders. This role focuses on hands-on leadership, coaching, and driving customer-first outcomes while meeting KPIs.

The ideal candidate will combine leadership with strong negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking in a fast-growing environment. On-site work with flexibility per location is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of client-facing and vendor-facing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• 2+ years of team leadership or mentoring experience in operations/sourcing/customer-facing roles.
• Proven ability to manage escalated or complex workplace situations with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sourcing professionals through the order recovery process with coaching and guidance.
• Serve as SME for recovery strategies, supplier/customer negotiations, and complex sourcing challenges.
• Prioritize escalations and redistribute workload to hit team KPIs.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships with Design Engineers, Manual Quoting Team, Sales, and others.
• Independently manage high-risk/high-visibility escalations.
