Position Summary We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist I to manage the buying process for a designated set of goods and services. The ideal candidate will apply sourcing policies and serve as the liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring adherence to specifications and budgetary requirements. This role demands a comprehensive understanding and application of sourcing methodologies within a structured organizational context.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure successful execution by suppliers.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to resolve issues, manage schedule changes, and ensure timely delivery.
• Update ERP systems to reflect changes and progress.
• Advise functional managers on sourcing-related projects, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and lead small projects with defined goals and timelines.
• Drive results that typically materialize within 2–12 months of implementation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of sourcing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in buying or procurement roles.
