Job summary

Weber Blackstone is seeking a Sourcing Manager for Raw Materials, Metals and Fabrications to lead procurement strategy for key commodities. This role drives cost-saving, quality, and delivery improvements while managing supplier performance across KPIs.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Planning, Quality, and Finance to support new product development from concept to launch. Based in Palatine, IL, with global procurement involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field is required.
• 6–10 years in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing or supply chain in consumer/seasonal manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, metals and fabricated components.
• Lead supplier evaluation, negotiation and commercial terms.
• Define and monitor KPIs and supplier scorecards.
• Support cross-functional work with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Product Development.
• Engage suppliers early in new product development for manufacturability and risk mitigation.
• Travel as needed (approx. 10%).
